Did you know that Israel is a country where each year, by law, anybody who works for the public good undergoes a training course on how to work with people with special needs? We will talk about what exactly these special needs are and what are the instruments we can use to support such people in the right way. We will tell about exactly how to build a human bridge in order that we may live in an inclusive and accessible society in which every person is able and enjoys the same rights. Together, we will become acquainted with the Israeli example, learn a few phrases in sign language (in Latvian and English!) and join the Burtnieks choir and friends from the Latvian Society of the Blind in a song.

Event languages: English, Latvian, sign language.
