28.06.2019 22:00 - 23:30

Zviedru telts 8

Organized by:

Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola

In collaboration with:

Sabiedrība par atklātību – "Delna" Transparency International Lithuania Open Knowledge Sweden

Description:

Open government data has emerged as a distinctly 21st-century approach to citizen participation and public integrity in democratic societies. By transforming information collected by public officials into the raw material for problem-solving and the creation of useful tools in the public interest, it does more than advance government transparency.

Curious about what this means in practice? Come and join us in this interactive game!

While experts from Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden share their experience in the use of data to enhance public accountability, participants can learn how to better engage with policy-makers and make a difference in their communities.

The game will be facilitated by:

– Antonio Greko, Transparency International Latvia – DELNA,

– Pierre Mesure, Transparency Inernational Sweden, Digidem Lab

– Ieva Dunčikaite, Transparency International Lietuvos skyrius.

This event is organised with the financial support from the Nordic Council of Ministers, co-funded by Transparency International Latvia – DELNA and Transparency International Lietuvos skyrius / Lithuania.
