Parliamentary secretary of Prime Minister of Latvia
Evika Siliņa has been a new approaches developer of national legislation in the following areas: drugs, crimes against state security and terrorism, civil protection and crisis management, asylum seekers regulation, immigration policy and other issues. She has made her fundamental contribution into establishment of Internal Security Bureau of Republic of Latvia in 2015. Silina has been a leader of European (within Latvian presidency in Council of EU 2015) and Latvian delegation in UN, CEPOL, and INTERPOL. Since 2017 she is the Parliamentary Secretary of the Prime Minister of Latvia, and since 2017 she publishes her articles in women’s magazine “Imperfekt”. She has studied law, and she has a master’s degree for her studies focusing on International and European rights.
