Kristi Liiva

Kristi is the Head of the Development of the Estonian Arvamusfestival (the Festival of Opinion Culture) and a co-founder of the event organised as by volunteers as a citizenship initiative by NGO Arvamusfestival.
Besides volunteer work Kristi is a communication consultant at the Communication Consultancy JLP she founded 11 years ago. Her longest work experience in communications management is from the banking sector. Between 2009 and 2012 Kristi worked at Swedbank’s HQ in Stockholm. She was the right hand of the group's head of corporate communications and was responsible for managing the bank’s reputation in its home markets of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Prior to this, she worked at Hansabank for 8 years leading its Marketing and PR in the Baltics. Kristi has also led communications at Eesti Energia, the state owned energy company and headed the Government Communication Office and advising Prime Minister of Estonia in 2003-2005.
