Description:

In the digital era, public space is saturated with various types of media and information sources. Due to rapid digitalisation, traditional media is beginning to lose its authority as a trusted institution. Digitalisation also demands other forms of expertise from journalists – such as data journalism, mobile journalism, infographics and content marketing on social networks – all of which belong to the tools of 21st-century media in order to reach their users and demonstrate their need. The existence and development of responsible and diverse journalism requires both high-quality content and an educated audience, and it is therefore important to strengthen and promote media and critical thinking in society.
